The angle of this project is quite clever: it positions itself as an agent multiplexer for the terminal. Normally, using AI coding assistants is a single-threaded process, but Rove wants to allow developers to run multiple coding tasks in parallel.
The interesting part is how it leverages Git worktrees to create isolated workspaces for each parallel task while maintaining persistent sessions. This means you can have Claude Code or other agents independently working on different bug fixes or feature developments in the background without corrupting the state of your main codebase. It is not building a new LLM tool, but rather providing a highly practical concurrent scheduling wrapper for existing CLI coding assistants.
